Tunkuy is an artistic project by Iván Jaque, a Mexican producer with Chilean roots. His music reflects his particular taste for dub, enriched with elements of the electronic world.
Pulmari, his debut album, depicts different landscapes, from remote communities in South America to the fusion of Northern cultures based on their ceremonial pilgrimages.
Focused on dub and Afro-Latin rhythms, Tunkuy experiments with numerous genres such as reggae, dancehall, afrobeat, funk and cumbia.
